The healing properties of Tuning Fork frequencies

You may be unaware of the profound healing that certain vibrational frequenties can provide…. Sound healing: receiving a tuning fork session raises your vibrational resonance for a higher consciousness, health and harmony. It helps improve stress levels, sleep, blood pressure and optimises wellbeing.

If you read my post: ‘Frequency and resonance– what does that do to us?‘ and maybe also The Power of Frequency therapy’, and Nicola Tesla’s findings are known to you, that Frequency and Vibration are the fundamental underlying quantities that make the material manifestation possible, then the next story will be very simple to understand.

Incidentally, other great physicists also provide us with the same knowledge in this area, perhaps in different terms. Take a look at the picture of Einstein below, in which he expresses – in a different way – what we are talking about here.

When we apply this principle to our daily life, we find out that medicines – whether they are natural or of chemical origin – also generate a frequency in our body that has to give our self-healing capacity a specific boost, to HEAL, and to become better. If we look at the way in which healing was done in the past, with the help of nature alone, then we arrive at a total re-acknowledgment of the phenomenon. People who live in resonance with nature know that this phenomenon is at the foundation of our life in the Cosmos.

Sound is Frequency, the proof in your hands

The knowledge of the tuning fork frequency (Phonophoresis) is centuries old.
Tuning forks manufactured are perfectly and very specifically tuned to various vibrational frequencies (which also produces sound tones).
The application of tuning forks is used as complementary therapy on the body to relax and regain physical and mental balance: the sound waves generated by the tuning fork resonate with the body’s energy and promote a sense of harmony and balance.
When you treat yourself -or another person- with Phonophoresis, you work on the basis of vibration/frequency: the vibrations of the tuning fork and the vibrations of the human being’s whole being, as it is at that moment.
It reduces stress and can help to relieve even pain. The vibrations can trigger subtle sensations, and the body is supposed to respond by balancing.

Vibrations & Frequency
Our body is more than 75% water, and water conducts vibration.
The person receiving the treatment may experience the vibration as a gentle sensation. Most practitioners combine tuning fork therapy with other holistic modalities like Reiki, meditation, or aromatherapy to create a more comprehensive healing experience.

When we talk about the frequency of a tuning fork, we are talking -when measuring it- about the number of vibrations per second. This is usually expressed according to the Hertz scale. A high tone has a higher frequency than a lower tone. As we know from physics, everything has its own vibration, witness also Tesla’s statement.

Colours, materials, plants, animals, people; everything has its own pitch, which we cannot hear with our ears, but can definitely express in these vibrations/Hertz per second. The tuning forks of the Phonophoresis tradition were developed with this knowledge.

The OHM sound
OHM is an ancient and traditional sound or mantra used in many Eastern traditions such as Buddhism and Hinduism. The basis of Indian music, and has been known since time immemorial as the most important sound, or primal sound. This sound represents the springboard to higher consciousness, intuitive knowing. The OHM tone gives calm and relaxation. Equal to the frequency of 136.10 hertz, the primal sound of the universe; it gives a deep connection to creation as a whole, of which we are all a part.

Because tuning forks are so easy to use, they are very suitable as a short treatment, even with yourself! For relaxation, calming emotions and relieving pain. You could therefore also call this tone the soul tone.

Let’s also look here at the scientific side of the story. Check out these 10 applications of tuning fork vibration (Phonophoresis) by Dr. James Lincoln, a physics teacher at Tarbut V Torah High School. He shows a demonstration of using the tuning forks with everyday laboratory instruments.
Such as mirrors, water, ping pong balls, oscilloscope and laser.
