How does CBD work?
CBD, when in the correct form, plays a key roll with receptors in the central nervous system, bringing a calming effect to the mind and body. CBD also serves as an anti-inflammatory and produces pain-relieving effects by modulating the pain receptors that help with pain management. Many doctors are working with CBD to heal diseases like cancer and epilepsy. This is due to CBD’s ability to balance the immune system and nervous system. If your immune system needs to be amplified, it will turn it up. If it needs to be calmed, CBD will turn it down. An over amped immune system can cause problems, CBD balances all the body systems bringing your mind and body into perfect harmony.

Years ago I visited the CBD Spain Medicinal Food S.L. cannabis plantation in Andalusia (see picture above). One of the first CBD plan-identical producing companies in Europe. Since 2010 they produce with passion and dedication high quality plant-identical Full-Spectrum CBD extract/oil and other industrial hemp products.
After an interesting tour, I received a lot of information from Peter (owner), who spoke passionately about the different types and the process. Peter has been a specialist in this matter for more than 40 years and controls, manages and produces his oils in his own laboratory. The knowledge and experience this man has is enormous. What I think is important to know, is that they do NOT use isolates (CBD/CBG crystals) or added terpenes.

Plant – Identical Full-Spectrum
The plants grow outdoors in the full Spanish sun and native soil. They don ́t just grow organically, but also use specific bacteria and fungi to nurture soil life and increase soil activity.
At low temperature and with a special solvent, they collect the precious compounds from the plant material. A very important goal for them is making a so called “Full-Spectrum” oil, which contains a wide range of active compounds such as cannabinoids, terpenes and Flavonoids.
CBD Spain is one of just a few companies, in Europe that produce Plant-identical Full-Spectrum cannabis extract/oil.

If it is of any interest for you, the text that follows below I picked from an article what was written by Peter himself. Here he explains very clear the difference in various CBD oils offered in the market.
This provides some more insight into the CBD product as Full Spectrum, the use of extracts and their applications:
”In the beginning, everyone was really concerned with the pure extracts of the plant, full of terpenes, cannabinoids, flavonoids, etc. Of course there were major quality differences between the different producers, but everything revolved around the complete extraction of the cannabis plant.

But more than six years ago, the first CBD crystals of unprecedented purity came onto the market, up to 99.9% pure CBD crystals with 0.000% THC.
The market responded very pleased, after all, they could now market a product with a high CBD percentage, without having to worry about the maximum THC percentage, which internationally stands at a maximum of 0.2% THC delta 9.
This development would be great if the CBD crystals had the same effect as the cannabis extracts made from the entire cannabis plant.
But unfortunately this is absolutely not the case, CBD crystals and CBD extracts are completely different products, with a completely different effect of the CBD.

I am absolutely not a fan of CBD crystals myself, but CBD crystals can certainly be used. The correct dosage is important here. CBD crystals are, as one might suspect, almost 100% pure CBD crystals, without the more than 500 other substances such as cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, etc., that are normally present in cannabis plants.
Scientists have now come to the conclusion that it is precisely these substances in the cannabis plant that work together for optimal medicinal effects.
Research shows, among other things, that Full-Spectrum extracts that have not been decarboxylated are 1.7 times more effective than a Full-Spectrum extract that has been decarboxylated.
For me personally, decarboxylating is like swearing in church.
When I ask people what is healthier, a head of fresh Endive mashed into a stew, or an Endive that has been boiled into snot… than they will know.

According to most scientific medicinal studies, the products based on cannabinoid crystals have a positive effect of around 35%.
In contrast, a positivity rate of around 85% of users of Full-Spectrum extracts.

Our body and the Endo-cannabinoid system
(Endo = body’s own Phyto = vegetable)

What we need to know is that our own human body produces the same substances as in the cannabis plant, our own body produces Endo-cannabinoids.
And the cannabis plant produces Phyto-cannabinoids.
The great thing about this is that our body accepts the Phyto-cannabinoids and sees them as Endo-cannabinoids.
Normally, our body can repair its own system by consuming high-quality nutritional products.
Unfortunately, our food supply and lifestyle have deteriorated to such an extent that our body can no longer optimally replenish and repair its own Endo-cannabinoids, resulting in all kinds of ailments and diseases.
By using Full-Spectrum cannabis extracts we can quickly and effectively replenish the Endo-cannabinoids in our body, so that our body can repair itself.

If you want to be more certain whether you are really buying a Full-Spectrum oil, you can ask for the so-called Terpenoids test from an independent and officially registered laboratory.
In many cases they cannot and then you know enough.
Especially when you know that Full-Spectrum extracts are always tested for terpenes!”
