Natural remedies have been used for centuries to treat a variety of ailments, including the common cold and flu.
This flu mixture, also known as the Barbara O’Neill Flu Bomb Remedy, is a natural remedy that combines various ingredients to create a powerful healing elixir.
Garlic is known for its antimicrobial and immune-boosting properties. Ginger and turmeric have anti-inflammatory effects and can aid in reducing symptoms such as coughing and sore throat. Lemon juice is high in vitamin C, which can help boost the immune system, while honey provides soothing relief for the throat. Finally, cayenne pepper powder can help clear sinuses and relieve pain by reducing inflammation.
Crushed garlic: 2-4 (how much you can handle)
Ginger: 1/2 to 1 teaspoon – finy grated
Dried (organic) Cayenne pepper: biological 1/2 -1 teaspoon (how much you can handle)
Turmeric: 1 teaspoon freshly crushed (or turmeric powder as a substitute)
Grained black pepper: 1-2 pinches (improves the blood flow and important for a good absorption of the curcumin from the turmeric)
Lemon: juice of 1/2-1 lemon
Honey: 1 full teaspoon – if possible, use local biological honey.
You could add also some biological cinnamon.
Description:
Dosage:
Take 1/4 to 1/3 of the final mixture and add it to a half cup of boiling water. Allow the mixture to cool to a warm temperature before drinking. The recommended dosage is 3-4 times a day, and the entire amount should be consumed within one day for maximum effectiveness.
If you have a sensitive palate, start with a smaller amount of cayenne pepper powder and gradually increase it as tolerated.
Children: Half the suggested dosage.
This is a great booster for you immune system and works good for bronchitis, asthma, flu, pneumonia, sinus or head cold.
Preventive use: A single dosage may also be taken throughout winter just before bed to keep the immune system strong and to avoid any infection.
Additionally steam bath: you can place one to two drops Eucalyptus oil in a bowl of hot water and steam your face with a towel draped over your head for a few minutes.

I would also like to comment that organic Cayenne pepper has very nice properties and contributes to good health when added regularly to your meals. I will certainly dedicate another article to this.
